All You Need To Know About Regina Daniels

It's no longer news that, 'small girl; big God' Reginal Daniels has been the most controversial Nollywood Actress so far in 2019. The young beautiful actress has successfully evoked an eternal suspense which has caused different tongues to wag. And, she has successfully made at least 3 headlines daily on Nigerian blogs since the time news of her rumored marriage broke out.

People who know her very well including her fans know she is not a novice to controversy.

There is a controversy about her that is common and recurring annually. In the past three or more years, the young actress is always turning sixteen on her birthday. Whenever she celebrates her usual sixteenth birthday, she sparks the usual annual controversy again. The last time she clocked a year older, the viral headline was “Teenage Actress Celebrates Birthday In Style”. And, she got Nigerians talking again. They wondered when the actress will eventually become an adult. After some time, the birthday controversy collapsed and while her Fans were waiting for the following year to come, to hear that  ‘Teen Actress celebrates birthday’ again, they were perplexed with the news of her marriage to a Billionaire Prince, Ned Nwoko.

Another intriguing part of her recent controversy is that her rumored husband thinks she’s 22 but her voter’s card, a National Identity says she’s 20.

The young celebrity was born on October 10th, 1999, according to her voter’s card, a (National Identity); Was born in Asaba. She is a Nigerian but her ancestry is yet to be made public. Her mother's name is Rita Daniels while her father’s name is not known to the public. Information about his birth, ancestry, early life and educational achievements is sadly missing on the map and not available at the moment.

Speaking of her education, Regina perfectly handles both fields (acting and school) well. She studied at the prestigious Hollywood International School Asaba, Delta State and is currently schooling at the Okada-based elite institution – Igbinedion University in Benin City, Nigeria.

She is raised by a mother who is grounded in acting, it only took Regina Daniels a few years to become conversant with the rudiments of the arts.  Regina’s mother, Rita, is a popular face in the movie industry as well. She is an actress and was appointed the chairwoman of the Delta State Actors Guild sometime ago. Rita is said to have been very supportive of her daughter’s acting career. Actress Regina has five siblings, who are all supportive of her career. Their names are Samuel Daniels, Lawrence Daniels, Emmanuel Daniels, Ifeoma Daniels, and Destiny Daniels. The first three are her brothers while the last two are her sisters. At the moment, there’s no detailed information about what her siblings are do and where they are but we they certainly are doing well in their respective fields, just like their sister.

The teen actress stormed the Nigerian movie industry at a very young age of seven. It is believed that her mother, who is a prominent member of the Delta State Actors Guild, really played pivotal roles in pushing her daughter to stardom within the movie community. Regina made her professional debut appearance in the 2015 widely acclaimed Nollywood movie Marriage in Sorrow. Following an impressive performance, she went on star in several Nigerian films, including but not limited to Dumebi in School, The King and The Python, Python Girl, The Jericho, The Jericho (as producer), Wipe your Sorrows, Twins Apart (as producer), Tears of Ojiugo, Traditional War (Part 1), Hanging Coffin, among others.

Her involvements in the industry have also seen her share screen time with popular Nollywood A-listers such as Chinwe Owoh, Yul Edochie, Tonto Dikeh, Ngozi Ezeonu, Mercy Johnson and many others.

The budding star has also been nominated for so many awards in the entertainment industry. In 2015 and 2016, she was nominated for the Most Promising Actress at the City Movie Award. Similarly, Regina was nominated at City People Movie Award for Best Supporting Actress of the Year (English) in 2016, and at the 2017 City People Movie Award for Best Upcoming Actress of the Year (English).

Unlike most celebrity teenagers, Regina Daniels is quite outstanding and unique. Not just because of her popularity in Nigeria and beyond but also because she has a heart of gold. The teen’s first movie, as she once shared, paid her N10,000 but as time progressed, Daniels began scoring lucrative acting gigs that put over N 100,000 in her pockets.

During a recent interview, she disclosed that she receives N500, 000 per movie, and that she has been working on herself inorder to become a household name in Africa and beyond. She has a charity organization known as Regina Daniels Foundation as well.

At the moment, there are several conflicting reports on how much Regina makes from her roles in Nollywood. However, as an actress and film producer,  she surely makes a reasonable sum of money from her fast-growing profession.

As a beautiful and young actress, it is normal for men to constantly make advances to Regina but the actress once shared that her mother helps her out in handling her male fans, especially the stubborn ones. Her last known and presumed boyfriend was Somadina Adinma. The duo was known to tease fans with loving displays as they reaffirmed their affection for each other at any given opportunity.

However, the actress’ relationship with Somadina seems to have become a thing of the past now after the rumours of Regina Daniels’ marriage with a popular Delta born Billionaire littered the whole INTERNET (social media, blogs, and Nigerian Dailies).

Although Regina Daniels, her mother, Rita and rumored older lover, Ned Nwoko have not publicly affirmed the controversial marriage, but pictures and videos are speaking on their behalf. Insiders and close allies are also betraying their ‘no talk’ policy as they are revealing secrets to blogs and media houses.
