Kidnapped Bwari Residents Freed in Daring Rescue by FCT Police and Army!

In a thrilling turn of events, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police, together with the Nigerian Army, successfully rescued all victims of a kidnapping incident that occurred in Zuma 1, Bwari Area Council, on January 2nd, 2024. The dramatic rescue operation took place late Saturday night, January 20th, around 11:30 PM, near Kajuru forest in Kaduna state.



This happy news comes after relentless efforts by the FCT Police Anti-Kidnapping squad, working in close collaboration with troops of the Nigerian Army. Their unwavering determination to track down the perpetrators and secure the victims' safe return finally paid off in this decisive move.


Commending the successful operation, FCT Police Commissioner CP Haruna G. Garba expressed his gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, for his recent deployment of the newly commissioned Special Intervention Squad. This strategic move significantly bolstered the existing security structure in the FCT and instilled greater public confidence.
