"It's not a search that we have prizes for the winners but we have full package to bring up the next generation of stars not just in Delta State. We want to create talents that will compete in the world stage. We want to create talents and discover talents that will come home with a Grammy Award. We have a Grammy Award winner in this generation in the person of Burna Boy and we have a lot of great talents that have rose in the music industry, comedy industry, and the movie industry. So, the Made in Delta Talent Search is focused on discovering, developing, and promoting young talents in the comedy industry, music industry, and also in the film industry. We are taking it to the three senatorial districts in Delta State and the Capital which is Asaba. So, we are going to Agbor on 13th of May. From Agbor, we will move to Ughelli, from Ughelli to Warri before going to Asaba."  He buttressed.

After which they would compete among themselves at the grand finale in Asaba where 10 winners would be selected and would be given contracts worth 5 million naira, wardrobe allowance, and a platform for them to exhibit their talents to the world.

He explained that these winners would be nurtured and mentored by a lot of talents assessors, and renowned Delta State celebrities like Bovi, I go dye, Gordons etc., before unveiling them to the world.

He further said the office has reached out to private sectors to collaborate with them because the sector can't work without the support of private sectors and media houses.

He noted that this project is an initiative of the current administration to give the youths privilege to showcase their talents.

"In Talent Development, we always say talents is the new crude because we believe that someday we may run dry of oil but talents will keep striving. We don't just say it, we've been able to prove it that talents is the new crude in the world right now".
