How To Make Breast Milk Soap

Hey mums! Did you know you can make a soap with that typically sweet and creamy fluid oozing out from those boobs of yours? You probably have no idea how it is done, right? Don't you worry, let me show you how to go about it. First of all, get a good quantity of your breast milk, refrigerate it and enjoy its pleasantness as we proceed.

INGREDIENTS:

1. Two (2) cups  of olive oil or coconut oil.

2. 1/4 cup water.

3. 1/4 cup lye (solid NaOH).

4. 1 cup of  breast milk.

5. Cookies tray.

PREPARATION.

Heat the oil to 115°F.

In a glass measuring cup, add lye to water.

When the solution reaches 115°F, add to oil.

Stir until the mix is silky; then add milk. The colour will change; it is normal. Stir until you get instant pudding consistency, approximately 60 to 45 minutes. Pour in moulds.

You can use almost anything, be it silicone muffin tin or cookies tray. But, avoid using metallic trays. Okay? Let it sit for two (2) or three (3) days, until you can un-mould soaps easily and cut into diversified shapes of your choice.

You have to let your soap 'cure' 4 to 5 weeks, until it becomes neutral. You should get approximately 12 soaps.

Now, your soap is ready, use it to bath your child, yourself, and whomever cares to use, and enjoy its healthy benefits.
