Edo State Government to Invest in Top LASU Graduate
The Edo State Government has announced that it will place Aminat Yusuf, who graduated as the best law student from Lagos State University (LASU) with a perfect 5.0 CGPA, on salary and sponsor her Law School programme.
The announcement was made by the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, during a meeting with Yusuf at the Government House in Benin City. Obaseki said that the state government was proud of Yusuf's academic achievements and wanted to encourage her to continue her education and pursue a career in law.
"Aminat is a brilliant young woman with a bright future ahead of her," Obaseki said. "We are proud of her accomplishments and we want to do everything we can to support her. By placing her on salary and sponsoring her Law School programme, we are investing in the future of our state."
Yusuf expressed her gratitude to the state government for the offer. She said that she was honored to be recognized by the government and that she would work hard to become a successful lawyer.
