New Revelations Emerge in Mohbad's Death Case: Father Raises Questions in TVC Interview (Video)

Fresh questions have been raised surrounding the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad after his father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, revealed new details in an interview with TVC News. In the interview, Mr. Aloba casts doubt on the existence of a will allegedly left by his 27-year-old son and suggests collaboration between the lawyer and other parties involved.

Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Promise Oladimeji Aloba, died on September 12, 2023, after receiving treatment for an infection from an unlicensed nurse. His death sparked public outrage and led to the arrest of the nurse and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.

According to Mr. Aloba, he was "shocked" to learn of a will supposedly left by Mohbad. "26 years old boy was writing a will? Which is capital NO!" he declared, casting doubt on its authenticity. Mr. Aloba questioned the validity of the document, stating that at 56, he himself hadn't felt the need to draft a will, and found it unlikely that his son, at 26, would have done so. He further alleges witnessing a lawyer visit the scene shortly after Mohbad's death, raising concerns about potential manipulation.

 "Instead of a doctor, a lawyer? Inside that compound? Just for them to arrange what they wanted to arrange," Mr. Aloba stated in the interview. He suspects the lawyer's presence was tied to the will and claims Mohbad wouldn't have used a thumbprint to sign any document, suggesting potential forgery.
